Tisdale sat downwardly with PeopleStyle to chat about her beauty hacks, mishaps and victories, and even showed united states a thing or two virtually how to apply her new products. Here are five things you need to know about the newly minted makeup maven:

1. Her dazzler hero is the goddess of glowy skin herself, JLo.

"I would have to say Jennifer Lopez because she's legit with her makeup," Tisdale told PeopleStyle when asked who inspires her makeup routine. "That's what I like to accomplish — that glow-y, beach-y wait."

2. She'due south learned from her past makeup mistakes.

"When I was younger — specifically in eighth grade — I was very creative and had fun, and I just recall my dad making fun of me because I had like crazy blue eye shadow on, and that's when I didn't know less is more than," she jokes about a discussion that went down between her and her begetter, in which he ultimately concluded up winning. "I didn't know that if y'all were going to get bold on your eye, yous should tone down everything else — it'due south similar don't do crazy chroma, don't do lipstick in a bright color, only I had no idea when I was younger."

5. She's thirty, flirty and thriving–without a gray hair in sight.
